This policy explains what iSKEL Tech Solutions Private Limited stores on your device when you visit iskeltechsolutions.com, and what each item is for. It covers cookies and also browser local storage, which does the same job by a different mechanism and deserves the same disclosure.
We run no advertising, no tracking pixels and no analytics. What we store keeps you signed in, remembers your cookie choice, and remembers whether you picked light or dark mode. Everything beyond the strictly necessary is off until you turn it on.
What cookies and local storage are
A cookie is a small text file a site asks your browser to keep, and which the browser sends back on later visits. Local storage is a similar store, except the data stays in your browser and is never automatically transmitted anywhere. We use both, and both are listed below.
The categories we use
Every item we store belongs to one of the categories below. You control all of them except the strictly necessary ones, which the site cannot work without.
Strictly Necessary — always active
Required for the site to function — signing in, keeping you signed in, submitting a form, and remembering your cookie choice. These cannot be switched off.
| Name | Type | Set by | Purpose | Retained for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
sid, user_id, system_user, full_name |
Cookie | iSKEL (Frappe) | Keeps you signed in. Only set if you log in — not set for ordinary visitors. | Session, or up to 3 days if you choose to stay signed in |
iskel-cookie-consent |
Cookie | iSKEL | Remembers which cookie categories you allowed, so you are not asked again. | 12 months |
iskel-theme |
Local storage | iSKEL | Remembers whether you chose light or dark mode. Written only when you use the control, kept in your browser, never sent to us. | Until you clear your browser storage |
iskel-palette |
Local storage | iSKEL | Remembers which of the seven colour themes you chose. Written only when you pick one, kept in your browser, never sent to us. | Until you clear your browser storage |
Analytics
Helps us understand which pages are useful and where people get stuck, so we can improve the site. We do not use any analytics today — this category exists so that if we ever add it, it stays off until you allow it.
Nothing in this category is in use today. The category exists so that if we ever introduce something that belongs in it, it stays switched off until you say otherwise.
Marketing
Would be used to measure advertising and show you relevant iSKEL content elsewhere. We run no advertising or tracking pixels today, and this category is off unless you turn it on.

Third parties that receive data
These companies receive something about your visit. There are two ways that can happen, and they are not the same thing: your browser can fetch a file from another company's server, in which case it has to tell them your IP address to make the request — or we can send them something ourselves, from our own server, after you have gone. We say underneath which applies to each.
| Service | Operated by | Why we use it | What they receive |
|---|---|---|---|
| ipinfo.io | IPinfo LLC (United States) | Tells us the approximate city and the network an IP address belongs to, so we can see which places our work is read in and tell real visitors apart from automated crawlers. | An IP address taken from our own server logs — nothing else, and nothing that names you. |
ipinfo.io: Your browser never talks to ipinfo.io. No part of this page comes from them, and they set no cookie and see no other detail of your visit. Our server looks the address up minutes afterwards, once per address rather than once per page, and stores only the city, region, country and network name alongside the log entry. City from an IP address is approximate at the best of times — on a mobile network it is often the operator's regional gateway rather than where you are sitting.
Until September 2026 this site loaded its typefaces from Google Fonts and its icons from a public CDN. Both are ordinary choices, and both meant your IP address reached another company before the page finished rendering. We host those files ourselves now, so that no longer happens — every stylesheet, script, typeface and icon comes from our own servers.
Changing your mind
Your choice is stored for 12 months. You can change it whenever you like:
- Use the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of any page, or the button near the top of this one.
- Clear your browser's cookies for this site — we will then ask again on your next visit.
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary ones may stop you being able to sign in.
If we add a new category or a materially new purpose, we reset stored choices and ask again rather than assuming your earlier answer still applies.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
Because we set no advertising or analytics cookies at all, there is nothing for a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal to switch off. If we ever introduce analytics, we will honour those signals as a refusal of the optional categories.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when what we store changes. The date at the top of the page always reflects the current version. Where a change materially affects you, we will ask for your consent again rather than relying on the updated date alone.
